Todd Brown Todd began his musical career in the 80's as a guitarist. In the 90's he stepped away from music for several years to venture into other forms of entertainment before returning to rock in 2000. Upon his return to music he brought along his voice that he had previously only used for backing vocals. After playing with a few local bands Todd connected with guitarist Mike Genett and together they started writing material. Taking a little bit of the old style and placing it with the new and yet to come, it wasn't long before Todd had developed the sounds he was looking for and Withstand was formed. Todd's vocal style is often compared to artists such as Godsmack to Creed.
