MALICE IN WONDERLAND (track 7)
"Oh yeah, I like this. Nice voice, nice hard rock sound. I love what you guys did with the backup vocals. I'd get your cd, that's what matters right?"
"Makes me nod my head right away with that heavy rhythm. Singer has a nice grating quality to his voice. Sounds a little like Rob Zombie during the chorus...has that deep commanding voice. Great hard rock singer. The rhythm guitar is faultless. Tight, on time, excellent tone. Excellent guitar arrangement."
"Like the mood it puts me in ... This singer is good .. The guitars are strong.. Nice transitions.. Smoooottthhh...Like the bridge .. Suits the song.. Good work."
"Bass work is awesome, lyrics rock hard, drums are hard hitting, guitar work great. Love the song. It all flows together just right."
"Rhythm guitar from hell... Tormented rocking rifts....
Lead vocalist has an amazing deep, melodic, suitable voice for the heaviness within this band.
I love the pre chorus going in to the heavy chorus. Very melodic and heavy, the way a chorus should be. Drummer's meter on the mark. BAM BAM style."
"I like the timing and the instruments sound great. The vocals are great and I feel like the chorus is definitely something to be reckoned with. I like the way the singer starts out singing a word normally and then about halfway through the word he rushes the end to come.Tthe bridge sounded really good, everything is tight. I like the person yelling in the background it really adds to the mood of the song."
"Straight jacket video soon to come. The sound immediately runs you over...then palm-mute...then scary images from the lyrics...this is disturbed right? No? well then it has to be a bunch of fat guys in black who really like disturbed. I think that's actually better than disturbed...so I have to give this band some credit. Congratulations, in your unmerited pursuit of disturbd-ness you have surpassed the masters."
"When I listen to this (and it's been 9 or 10 times already), I think of Conan The Barbarian.
I'm not sure what that means, but there it is."
"This song features a very heavy slow beat, which is the very appealing. Vocals are almost goth in nature, and there are some decent hard rock vocal hooks. At times the vocals sound a bit derivative (Metallica crossed with White Zombie) but are well done nonetheless. I like the effects on the vocals during the break section at around 2:00. Guitars have some good riffs throughout the song."
"I like this track. The Vocals remind me of maybe Godsmack / Clutch / type O. But they are diverse in there presentation, which is a definite plus. Many singers will only phrase one particular way throughout the whole song.
All sounds very tight though."
"I give it a mosh score of 10.. This is my kinda rock, the rhythm is so powerful you can feel the crowd moshing around you. Great performances by everyone, the lyrics were well written and performed, the guitars were riffing in the "open" spaces and the rhythm was tight. Great job."
"Vocalist reminds me of james hetfield of metallica... cool! I give extra credits for the guitar and the song arrangement."
SENTENCED TO DEATH (track 10)
"Liked the song ,had a good sound. I would recommend this band to others and would like a cd."
"Oh the almighty have risen...Its weird cause about the last 210 songs that I’ve reviewed the mastering has been too low. I was beginning to think that my speakers were broken. The production here so far seems excellent. This band actually reminds me of one of my friends band. They are very good only this band sounds much better. I like the arrangement. The hooks are great the vocals are done extremely well. I really like what the drums do around the 2:30 mark. The "stops" in the song also lend a lot to the urgency of the song. This is a good thing. Its not a desperate thing. The song ends cold and I wish there was more. I don’t mean this as a negative either. In my opinion if you have a song that ends and people are still wanting more it means you have a winner on your hands. This means that either the listener is going to hit "replay" or that you gotta go buy the album, and we all know that neither of these are a bad thing especially when it comes to album sales. Great track."
"The song comes out nicely. A good guitar riff for the intro, then the vocals, which sound great, come in and bring the song together. Nice song overall."
"A Band That Has an Original Sound ! ! ! Yes, A band striving to create their own sound. It doesn’t sound possible but they do it with conviction."
"Nice intro..gets you going quickly...vocalist has a cool voice...very nice groove here...I like the chorus..has a really nice feel...I would like to hear more singing during the verses...nice instrumental break...great drummer."
"It was a mix of a bunch of pretty cool bands.
The mix was pretty good. The whole song had a great groove and movement to it.
Definitely made me bang my head."
CRACK IN THE MIRROR (track 1)
"The song starts rocking from the beginning. It's one of the best that I have reviewed. The guitar riffs are good sophisticated. I like the time signature especially. The song is great."
"One word boys, wow! Your guitarist is a guitarist after my own heart, super tight with amazing riffs. This band sounds huge and that is greatly displayed with a super rocking chorus. As you can see, I really dig this bands sound. Professional job and I would definitely check you out live and buy future album releases, keep rocking!"
"Keeps ya movin. I really liked the hook that comes out in the guitar.
You guys have also left a lot of time in the chorus for the song to breathe, I mean that you didn't overfill the part. The breakdown/bridge really fit the song well."
"This shit is the shit....heavy riff..."I'll kick your ass cuz Im hardKore with a K" vocals... fuckin awesome guitar riff... I gotta learn it...... fuckin heavy shit."
"Nice beat... cool voice. I dig this shit." All quotes above were featured on www.garageband.com © 2004
